Day 1 - Anchorage
Enjoy an extensive tour of Alaska's Largest City

As you travel from Seward to Anchorage aboard the sightseeing Cruise Train, you will enjoy stunning views of mountains and the waters of Turnagain Arm. There will be plenty of opportunities to see wildlife in the air, on land, and in the water - so be sure to keep your camera and binoculars handy.

Your Anchorage Sightseeing Tour includes Lake Hood, the largest float plane airport in the world. You will have the opportunity to see planes taking off and landing. With very few roads in the interior, this is the primary means of transportation. Discover Alaska makes sure you experience the real Alaska.

You will spend the night at the outstanding Hilton Downtown Hotel. Lunch will be provided at the hotel followed by your Anchorage Sightseeing Tour. Across the street from your hotel, be sure to visit the Anchorage Market & Festival, a 7 acre spread of vendors where you can shop for souvenirs. Dinner is at the hotel.

Day 2 - Sightseeing Train to Denali
Traveling through the heart of the uninhabited interior

For hours you will see no roads or building - only the stunning and rugged vistas of Alaska's wild interior. Keep your camera and binoculars handy.

Breakfast and Lunch will be cooked to order in the train's onboard galley so you can enjoy your meal as you continue to watch the breath-taking scenery roll by.

Spend an unforgettable night at the McKinely Chalets.

Day 3-Denali Park Natural History Tour
Understanding this remarkable National Park
After breakfast at the resort, enjoy your 4 Hour Natural History guided motorcoach tour looking for wildlife and learning about this incredible National Park. Wildlife enthusiasts should consider upgrading to the 7 to 8 Hour Tundra Wildlife Tour taking you 64 miles into the Park with more opportunities to observe and photograph wildlife for an additional $99 per person.

Your transfer to Fairbanks will be aboard the glass-domed sightseeing train cars of the McKinley Explorer. Dinner will be cooked to your order aboard the train.
Your accommodations for the next two nights are at the Westmark Hotel in Fairbanks.

Day 4 - Fairbanks
A very full day of Alaska culture, history, food & FUN!
Visit the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. Then enjoy a trip through Alaska's gold mining history at Gold Dredge No. 8. After a short course in gold mining, grab your own "poke" filled with pay dirt right out of a sluice box and try your hand at panning for gold.

You will enjoy lunch at the Landing.

Next board the Riverboat Discovery for a cruise on the Chena and Tenana Rivers. You will stop for a sled dog demonstration and at a reproduction Athabascan Indian camp where you will learn about Native culture.
End your busy day with an Alaskan Salmon Bake featuring Salmon, Cod, Prime Rib and all the fixin's. After dinner is the "Golden Heart Revue" at the Palace Theatre. This show is recognized by the Alaska Visitor's Association as "the number one show throughout Alaska and Canada." This revue is a lighthearted, musical, and comic look at the colorful characters from early and present day Fairbanks, the golden heart of Alaska.
