Dog Sledding & Glacier Helicopter Flightseeing
A combination of a helicopter flightseeing tour with the experience of dog sledding. Experienced guides will introduce you to the world of dog sledding. The young and young-at-heart will have the opportunity to stand on the sled and mush; others can simply relax on the sled and observe the breathtaking environment.
Wear warm clothing and sunglasses. Glacier boots are provided. Guests weighing 250 lbs. or more will pay an additional surcharge over the published fare. Time spent on the glacier is approximate and may vary due to weather and glacial conditions
At the zip-line base in Dyea, you will hop into a customized Unimog — an all-wheel-drive vehicle — to ascend the rugged mountain road.
Once you arrive you will suit up in gear that meets the highest industry standards while your expert guide tells you what to expect and how to safely navigate the course. At the take-off zone, clip in and get a running start on solid ground before you take flight into the treetops of the Alaskan rain forest. Fly over a course of 11 zip-lines and 4 suspension bridges. The lines will place you directly above glacially fed waterfalls and includes the Pipeline.
